( one Knight missing ) I was laughing my guts out and told him to look at the bright side – at least his Queen was on the board.

I was born in the Cook Islands, immigrated to New Zealand and currently live in USA. I thought a little tribute (if I’m playing ok) to my little island home might be cute. Thanks.

Comment by THUMPICUS December 24, 2007 @ 12:29 amThere are so many games where I lose because my connection to the server is lost. Of the last 4 games, three were lost in this way, even though I was well ahead – I even ‘lost’ one where my next move was to take my opponent’s sole pawn, leaving me with K, B +2 pawns versus his King!. Not surpringly, this drops my rankings, but also depresses the hell out of me. What’s the point of playing if you’re going to lose just through your server problems?

“Bad Word Filters” in place to stop expletives and abusive remarks, why doesn’t this site?
I have played chess with young children on here at times and, it is not appropriate that they be subjected to the kind of language that some other players often use on this site!!
